[12:58:55] Guys, seriously, this is not right. Please take a few minutes to follow the steps below and you will see. Really follow the steps ? Do not try to fix any intermediate bugs, instead look at the whole picture. 1) I created a new wallet in magnum and added a navcoin-account. seed (BIP39) : visa cabbage theme soccer cup fuel simple produce float maximum space creek This is a valid seed and with the path "m/44'/130'/0'/0" I get the [12:58:55] first navcoin-address NTGFrYaf7GpXNd4Rp3smGarXFnNiEfubGd 2) Just to check I created a new wallet in coinomi with the same seed. The first navcoin-address is identical to the one in magnum 3) I created a new wallet in NavCash 5.0.5, standard-wallet, clicked default option everywhere except that I used the seed created before (with the BIP39-option of course). The first address in the address-list of the wallet is [12:58:56] YLDr73udjVyVwCBs3mHsZXyqw79bZZmKhuGb14tnbynhbweuDhCdyo88K8f7R That is not even a valid navcoin-address (says magnum when I try to send there) 4) I created a new wallet in NavCash 5.0.06, same as above and got a first address 6xtBUZZGg4MBu6fLDtaYDH2RbiLCEpvPYuQ4BLkkLtMmk7tSrv5RiVk4wKbaTpqBVRR Also invalid (says magnum) and also different from 5.0.5 What is that ? [13:02:15] Also I created a new wallet in NavCash 5.0.6 and also got invalid addresses, even without any other software involved. I can if so wanted recreate that in detail. [13:14:59] Found it : The wallet has the seed (generated by navcash): fury strong ivory path require general junior undo payment busy hold sight First address: 6xtBUZZGg4MBu6fLDtaYDH2RbiLCE1cx8J9muxmN2pcQpnc1deeX1fL6ZUA5dH9Cxnz [13:33:33] @stn021 you see the long addresses because you chose to activate cold staking when creating the wallet [13:34:24] you should activate it and introduce your staking address if you want to access your cold staking coins [13:34:58] if you leave it empty it will create normal short addresses starting with N like magnum or coinoni [13:41:34] Sorry, does not work either. I just tried to start navcash 5.0.6 and got the message "Wallet could not be loaded. WalletFileException('The addresses in this wallet are not Navcoin addresses.\ne.g. 6xtBU..nz (length: 67)',)" Also you are again missing the point. I may or may not stake navcoin but quite certainly I (or anyone else) will not study navcoin before staking. If the software does not work in an understandable way I (and [13:41:35] almost anyone else) will stake somewhere else. [14:10:51] Also I just created a few more new wallets with different options and find that I have not the faintest idea what you could have meant in your previous post. [14:48:20] @stn021 By default a coldstaking wallet is selected and created. That means the addresses are long, but not all wallets supporting the coldstaking address (the long address) If you dont want to get coldstaking address, then you should select the option not to create a coldstaking wallet [14:52:06] https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/416000318149754881/744538978279096370/Bildschirmfoto_vom_2020-08-16_19-49-34.png [14:58:50] @aguycalled seems also Navcoin core dont support the address from navcash starting with: "6xtBUZZGg4MBu6fLD..." [15:02:40] Just saying, to avoid problem with big and small letters it would be better to use only small letters for the folder ".NavCash" [15:02:49] https://cdn.discordapp.com/attachments/416000318149754881/744541675354849280/Bildschirmfoto_vom_2020-08-16_20-01-30.png [15:18:57] One small problem : I DO want to earn rewards. [15:53:22] @stn021 Let's wait for the long address problem. I think the core wallet should support all address formats, but don't.
